Originally from Asturias - Northern Spain – Jordan started his career at the age of 19, working for over a year in a wine bar. This is where it all started as he encountered the “world of wine”. Since then he studied and worked on his knowledge in a very autodidactic way.
From 2000 and until 2011 he worked in a few Michelin Star restaurants such a Real Balneario, or Koldo Miranda, and in his spare time, Jordan also volunteered as jury member in different Sommelier’s competitions in Spain.
In August 2011 he moved to London; interested first in discovering Japanese cuisine and sake, he spent a year working at Roka Canary Wharf, a well-known restaurant of this capital. This is where Jordan discovered the new concept of Mr. Robuchon: L’Atelier. He spent the next 3 years working and gaining experiences, studying for his Sommelier Diploma in his free time. His dream is to become one day Master of Wine; one of the highest distinction possible in the wine trade.
Jordan is now glad to be in Bangkok discovering a new market, new flavors, and a new style of life.
